Esthetician - Make-Up Artist
I am originally from Kitimat and have lived in the valley since 2009
I got into the industry because I enjoy health and beauty. I’ve always liked pampering people and love the variety in my day.
I went to school in Abbotsford at Kosmetea.
My favorite treatment to get and to give is Facials.
I moved to Invermere in 2014 from Calgary for something a little slower paced, and am so happy with the move! I have been working here at Fusion Wellness Spa since I made the move here.
I do a lot of background clerical/advertising work here such as some day to day accounting, scheduling, adds, group bookings, social media, and the website. I enjoy every aspect of my job here as it is such a great team to work with.

My name is Katrina Doherty and I was born and raised in the Columbia Valley.
After graduation in 2007 I went to SAIT in Calgary, AB where I took business admin and majored in management. After I finished the 2 year course I decided to take massage therapy at Alberta Institute of Massage Therapy in Red Deer, AB.
I was always interested in massage and the idea of helping people feel better and being able to take pain away for them. After I finished the 1100 hour course, I moved back to the Columbia Valley and started working at Fusion Wellness Spa in April 2010. I was intrigued and impressed by the variety of the spa treatments that they offer, especially the hot stone massage and the deep tissue sports massage, my favorites by far. I have increased my knowledge and skill set by working on a cruise ship for most of 2012, it was the most amazing experience that i have ever done.
In September 2013 I returned to school to take Kinesiology and eventually embark on a career in sports therapy.
I now work at Fusion in the Summers and some long weekends.
My name is Keija, having been exposed to the beauty industry at a young age as my mom was a Hair dresser, it was only natural that I make a career out of it. Since graduating with honours from the Cosmetology program at the College of the Rockies in 2008, I feel I have really grown in my field and couldn’t have done that if it weren’t for the wonderful team here at Fusion and our continual product training with Eminence and Jane Iredale Cosmetics.
I take pride in my career and educating my clients to the best of my ability, so therefore I love attending Spa and Hair trade shows and classes to further enhance my education.

Lead Esthetician - Make-Up Artist
My name is Leigha and I have worked in the esthetic industry since graduating from the Marvel School of Esthetics in Edmonton, Alberta. I advanced my in-spa education through Colleen Sydor a previous CEDESCO trainer after graduation. I have worked at Fusion Wellness Spa since 2011 and love my time in the Columbia Valley.
I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my job from pedicures to brow waxes. Two of my specialties are Facials and makeup. The glitz and glam of fashion weeks and photo shoots has diminished since moving to the Columbia Valley, but I get to bring all that jazz to every bride and bridal party that joins us for their pre-wedding and wedding day appointments.

My name is Nancy Hill, I was born and raised on Vancouver Island, and am now living in the Kootneys.
I decided 12 years ago to become a massage practitioner due to my love receiving massage with its many healing benefits. I took my first course at The Kootney School of Rebalancing in Nelson BC. The style of bodywork I learned relieves tight muscles using need tissue techniques to unwind body tension.

Massage Provider/ Esthetician NHPC #11045
My name is Stacy Douglas, I was born in Rouleau, SK. I got into this industry simply because I love it, I want to help peoples bodies to feel good again. Massage is great for injury repair and preventative maintenance.
I first got my Massage Therapy Diploma in 1999, but wanted to further my education to esthetics, so I went back to school in 2010.
I never would have thought 17 years ago that I would be working in a spa as I was more sports/ injury/ clinical based, but now I find I get the best of both worlds. I still get to do my therapeutic work combined with the spa atmosphere with so many other treatments available.
