My favorite service on our spa menu would have to be the Myofascial Cupping treatment. I like getting it as part of my massage or as a whole service. -
Jeremiah
My name is Jeremiah, I work at fusion as a Massage Therapist. I studied massage first in Thailand, with a five foot tall monk for ten days on an open wooden deck, perched atop a cliff, overlooking the ocean…….. This is when I got hooked! I since studied Swedish Relaxation Massage, at the Calgary College of Holistic Health, and Ayurvedic Marma Massage, in a yoga ashram in germany. I have had many great teachers in the past but non surpass my Mom, who has lent me an intuitive touch with the body gained through uncountable childhood massages.
I strive to provide each client with the best service I can, and mix my knowledge to meets the needs of each client individually. All in all I have been doing massage for six years part time, and if all goes well I’ll be at it for the rest of my life.
I am currently working at Fusion because I find the atmosphere, friendly, relaxing, and gently uplifting.

Registered with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada
NHPC #19886My name is Katrina Doherty and I was born and raised in the Columbia Valley.
After graduation in 2007 I went to SAIT in Calgary, AB where I took business admin and majored in management. After I finished the 2 year course I decided to take massage therapy at Alberta Institute of Massage Therapy in Red Deer, AB.I was always interested in massage and the idea of helping people feel better and being able to take pain away for them. After I finished the 1100 hour course, I moved back to the Columbia Valley and started working at Fusion Wellness Spa in April 2010. I was intrigued and impressed by the variety of the spa treatments that they offer, especially the hot stone massage and the deep tissue sports massage, my favorites by far.I have increased my knowledge and skill set by working on a cruise ship for most of 2012, it was the most amazing experience that i have ever done.
My future goals include going back to school to take Kinesiology and get into sports therapy.

Kyla
My name is Kyla and I am the Spa Manager at Fusion Wellness Spa. I have been with Fusion since February, 2012 and came on board to help open and manage our second location at Copper Point Resort, which opened in April, 2012. I have a diploma in Ski Resort Operations and Management and received my Bachelor’s degree in Management, majoring in Marketing from the University of Lethbridge, so the spa world is new to me (other than coming as a guest) and I am loving every minute of it!
I love my job because I get to promote health and wellness and work with an incredible group of service providers who provide a relaxing escape for all of our guests. There is nothing better than seeing how relaxed and happy our guests are when they are leaving the spa after a treatment.
Favorite service to receive on our menu:
I think it is difficult for me to choose just one, so my perfect spa day would start with a 90 minute massage with some Myofascial Cupping, a Customized Facial, and end with a Gelish pedicure. -
Leigha
My name is Leigha. I am an esthetician and have been in the industry for close to five years; with Fusion Wellness Spa for the last two. I was educated at the Marvel School of Esthetics in Edmonton, and went further with in-spa education from Colleen Sydor who was a previous CEDESCO trainer after graduation.
I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my job from pedicures to brow waxes. Two of my specialties are Facials and makeup. The glitz and glam of fashion weeks and photo shoots has diminished since moving to the Columbia Valley, but I get to bring all that jazz to every bride and bridal party that joins us for their pre-wedding and wedding day appointments.
Favorite service to receive on our menu:
I enjoy coming to the spa for the True Fusion Stress Reliever on my days off to unwind -
